Yeden Sherpa did BFA from Kathmandu University 2014 to 2018.

Yeden Sherpa is a multidisciplinary conceptual artist whose work transcends medium, grounded in the concept of buddhist philosophy and contemporary experience. With a practice rooted in exploration rather than repetition, he works in a range of mediums across drawing, painting, installation and new media like animations, AR, and Video Art.

His art often reflects on themes of Buddhist philosophy, and the subtle weight of everyday life. Drawing inspiration from minimalist aesthetics, Yeden distills complexity into simplicity, creating work that invites viewers to reflect, find dialogue between the spaces.

Yeden’s process is not about mastery of tools, but presence of thought—letting intuition, silence, and small observations shape the work. Each piece is less an object, more a question—posed not with urgency, but with calm, open hands.
